I probably could've categorised/ordered these, but it's better than nothing I guess...

I found a bug! (And it seems pretty firey...)

Is it a spider? If not, please click this to find the support email, so you can send me info on what you found! Images or the error message text should be enough!

That's great, but the bug set me on fire.

When is the game coming out?

The goal is for Summer 2024! No precise date yet, though.

What engine is RUBATO made with?

GameMaker. May have not been what you expected given the rigidbody physics, but you can make those sort of games still with the engine!

What was used to make the music?

FL Studio! At some point I'll try write out a list of my full gear. I manually click everything in with a mouse though, no MIDI keyboards for me. You can check out the demo soundtrack here!

What is used to create the in-game art?

The tools vary between the different artists that work on the game, but for sprite art, Aesprite is primarily used. Ian uses Clip Studio Paint for the concept art, but I'm unsure what the other artist have used for 2D art. Blender 2.79 is used for the 3D models. I personally use MS-Paint though, just because it's super fast, light and is easy to copy/paste things in and out of the program.

Linux/Mac port?

These are planned. I don't quite have the setup needed to get these working yet though. I understand a native Linux version is something that's especially wanted, but for now you'll have to use Proton or Wine (sorry...).

Console port?

Check this out!

Any other versions planned?

Nothing right now. To recap, there's PC and console ports planned for launch and then Mac/Linux ports planned for sometime in the future.

Does RUBATO have racing wheel support?

Well. It technically works. You can make it work. But, I don't think you should really try to though.
